Today I am thankful for Amazon.com; I love two-day shipping for paper copies, and I love getting digital books delivered to my Kindle in a matter of seconds. Yep. I wear my book nerd badge proudly.

Day 12 of Gratitude

Today I am thankful for the journey that is my dissertation. After talking with my professor on the phone tonight, I am re-energized to plug away at my prospectus.

Day 11 of Gratitude

Today I am thankful for the many freedoms I enjoy because SOMEONE ELSE fought for them. To soldiers (and their famillies) of the past, present, and future, THANK YOU!

Time with Family

We were lucky enough to spend some time with Papa Tom and Carole this weekend. We had great food, fun times at the MOA, and quality conversations. I am so thankful for the role these two play in the lives of my children.

Today I am thankful for the gift of reading. I just finished my eighth SSR book of the school year, and I can't wait to start the next one on my list.
